Liberia: Wellness Partners Becomes Official Healthcare Partner of Cece United

Wellness Partners Health Clinic, an inaugural facility in an integrated network of medical facilities offering comprehensive healthcare, has become the official healthcare partner of 1st division club Cece United.

Wellness Partners provides internationally-recognized medical care that elevates the standard of health care and delivers superior patient health outcomes.

Both institutions signed a one-year partnership deal on Friday, August 12, with an option to extend.

“We are excited to partner with Cece United because all around the world, teams always have medical sponsorships and this is the first for us and we are looking forward to it. It is going to be another element of our healthcare provisions that we haven't explored as much before.

“It is important because before you can perform at the elite level, you have to be healthy. Also sports come with injuries and those injuries have to be taken care of,” Dr. Nicole Cooper, Medical Director of Wellness Partners said.

Under the agreement, Wellness Partners will provide a free consultation with the physician assistant every year during the lifespan of the contract, discounted labs/medications over the year, first aid medical bag with re-stocked materials every season, and provide a basic medical screening examination for any new addition to the squad before the official signing of said player, among others.

Cece United, under the agreement, will promote and advertise the images and brands of all Wellness Partners products and services through various social media platforms and during home matches.

Cece United will also offer the CLINIC complimentary tickets to all its home games and access to all events, make available its players/officials to the CLINIC for her (Clinic) an advert or promo productions (billboard, flyers, video ad, visitations at medical centers, etc.)
