A ten year old boy, identified as Mustapha Morris, has been reported missing from his West Point residence since April 10.

Asata Fahnbulleh, 38, the mother of the missing child, told the Daily Observer that young Morris left their home for prayer at a nearby mosque and has not been seen since.

“We have searched all around the community and even beyond, including homes of relatives and friends, but he is nowhere to be found,” she lamented.

She explained that Morris is a K-1 student in the community. “He has always stayed at home and I have never had any problem with him,” Ms. Fahnbulleh also known as Old Lady, said.

“We have informed the police in West Point and other police depots about his disappearance,” the mother said.

Mustapha’s father, Mamadi Morris, who lives in Gbarnga, Bong County, has been informed of his son’s disappearance.

Ms. Fahnbuleh has meanwhile appealed to Monrovians to notify the nearest police station or officer whenever they come into contact with any child who seems to have lost his way.

Ms. Fahnbulleh could not describe the clothes her son had on when she last saw him. She said she is so confused about her boy’s disappearance and she has been weeping for him since he went missing.
