Former NPA Anchors winger William Freeman has joined Barrack Young Controllers on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The young winger officially joined the club yesterday after signing his contract at the Blue Field.
“We are delighted to add William Freeman a skillful and fast winger to our team for the upcoming LFA league season,” the club said on their official Facebook page.
Freeman joined a new breed of players earlier signed by BYC since the start of the ongoing transfer season.
Freeman said he is delighted to join one of the best clubs in the Liberian first division championship and hope to deliver outstanding performance that will earn him a starting position on the team.
The young winger was part of NPA Anchors’ squad that lost in the final of the LISCR Trust Tournament. The winger helped his team advance to the final after defeating Monrovia Club Breweries and Bristol FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
BYC have so far signed 14 new players from first and second division clubs with the objective of preparing for the upcoming season. Some of the new players signed by the club were sent to the junior team, BYC II that competes in the second tier of the Liberian national league.
