U-20 Provisional Squad Released

The technical staff of the national Under-20 soccer team has released a provisional listing of 25 players in preparation for the upcoming WAFU/FOX U-2O Football Tournament.

According to the LFA, the 25 players were selected from a pool of 54 players that were called last week to justify their inclusion at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

Training is still ongoing and changes among players may be made at any time based on performance from the training sessions, the LFA said and noted that the team will shift to the George Weah Technical Center in Careysburg later this week.

The U-20 team which is under the guidance of coach Christopher Wreh is in Group A alongside Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, and Sierra Leone. Liberia opens the tournament on April 24, at the SKD Sports Complex against Cape Verde.
