Teah Hopeful of Better Performance at New Club

Junior Lone Stars FC-Liberia newly signed forward Even Teah display his new team's jersey after officially signing for the club

Following their establishment as a team that will be competing in the third tier of Liberian football league, Junior Lone Star FC showed their preparedness for the pending league season after officially signing 17 new players and is expected to sign on additional eight players.

One of the 17 new players is former Super Winner FC forward, Even Teah who has expressed hope of a better performance in the pending season.

Forward Teah, along with 16 others were signed on following their evaluation through series of test matches by the team from January of this year.

According to the former Super Winner FC forward, it was a great decision to join the Stars and cannot wait to hit the pitch for the team in the championship.

“My performance is going to be better than what the team saw in me. The team believed in my performance and signed me, so it is now left with me to prove myself,” he said.

Teah and his teammates signed a two-year Player Development Contract with an option to renew for another year.
After officially putting pen to paper for his new club, the 16-year-old forward posted on his official Facebook page, “I’m grateful to God for a new beginning in my career….and thanks to the Junior Lone Star FC family for believing in my talent.”

Since the closure of the league in August, the FA is yet to announce the official date for the resumption of the next league.
