Coach Francis Tamba has confirmed his availability to assess a C License coaching Course in Freetown, Sierra Leone, from May 29 to June 3, 2014.
“I’m looking up to conduct my second training, since the successful one recently in Monrovia,” he told the Daily Observer, yesterday.
It will be Coach Tamba’s first outside assignment. The invitation came from Mr. Abdel Moneim Hussein – Shatta, Director of Football Development Division (CAF).
“This is an opportunity for Liberia to also demonstrate that we are ready to contribute to the improvement of the global game,” Tamba told the Daily Observer yesterday.
Tamba said the first C License seminar in Monrovia challenged him, along with his colleague, Henry Brown, to realize how far Liberian coaches have come.
“We are grateful to the Liberia Football Association,” Tamba said, “for the opportunity to reach important milestones in our careers as coaches, and we’re grateful.”
Coach Tamba, a CAF Education Officer, recently completed a C License Course for 29 D License coaches and their results sent to CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
He successfully conducted the C License seminar with CAF Instructor, Henry Browne, technical director at the Liberia Football Association, who is waiting for a similar assignment.
