Four FIFA Referees for Ghana


Four Liberian FIFA referees will depart the country today for Accra, Ghana to officiate in the Confederation Cup 1st leg match between Ebusua Dwarfs and Pedro Atlantical of Angola.

According to the Liberia Referee Association (LIFRA), the four referees include Emmanuel Neewon, (Center Referee), Elisha Johnson (Assistant), Joseph Hoff (Assistant) and Jerry Yekeh (4th Referee).

In a related development, the Liberia Football Referee Association (LIFRA) has set up a three-man Elections Committee to organize it elections for a new corps of officers, for the next four years.

The appointed officers include, Anold Sheriff as chairman, Patrick Thomas as the co-chairman and Abraham Fahnbulleh as secretary.

LIFRA said the appointed body has been mandated to collaborate with the Referees’ Secretariat to ensure free, fair and transparent election.

Meanwhile Chairman Sheriff reaffirmed his commitment to ensure that the election is free, fair and transparent with respect to LIFRA’s Constitution.
