The world’s football governing body, FIFA, has informed the Liberia Football Association, LFA that it has accepted and approved of its statues.
A letter from FIFA signed by Marco Villiger, director of Legal Affairs and Oliver Jaberg, head of Corporate Legal, said, “We hereby confirm the draft of the Statues of the LFA sent to FIFA on 19 December 2013 meets all the requirements of FIFA.
“We take this opportunity to congratulate you on your excellent work and we thank you for your valuable cooperation.”
FIFA meanwhile requested the LFA to send a ratified and signed version of the approved Statues by indicating the date of ratification to its headquarters.
A copy of the Statutes was sent to CAF’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
