The head of Lone Star’s delegation in the just ended WAFU Tournament, Assistant Sports Minister Murvee Gray has called on West African Football Union (WAFU) countries to support Liberia’s Presidential candidate in the ensuring FIFA elections, Mr. Musa Bility.
Minister Gray, who served as Match Commissioner in the open and final matches in the 4-nation WAFU tournament in Dakar, Senegal said the support of Bility would help the continent to graduate from being a “Peace Maker to a King maker.”
Minister Gray made the assertion in a press conference after the game, with over ten journalists in Dakar, Senegal.
Commissioner Gray said he told the journalists that if ECOWAS support Bility it would be a significant boost for his presidential campaign.
“We have begun to meet with relevant stakeholders in Senegal as part of our initial campaign for WAFU and ECOWAS to endorse Mr. Bility,” Min. Gray told them.
