NHA’s Assistant Skipper Richard Gbah promises victory
After two difficult trial matches, the National Housing Authority’s assistant captain Richard Gbah says his side will put up an impressive performance against their counterparts from the GAC in the last game at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex today.
The match is in continuation of the Inter-Ministerial League being organized by the Ministry of Youth & Sports. The NHA is in Group G with GAC, Ministry of Youth & Sports, and Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC). The teams are expected to play each other and those who are victorious will move to the next round of the competition.
The two agencies will start the action at 11: am when their kickball teams will clash in their attempt to gain the upper hand with victory. The NHA female team also lost in their first trial match against National Port Authority (NPA), and they are expected to put up a good show this morning to set the stage for their male partners.
“They have been working on their weaknesses and so they will do better,” an official said.
Assistant skipper Gbah said their last two friendly matches have them much to do know for their first game. “We saw that we had problems in the defense and the midfield which we have taken care of,” he said.
He added, “We have conditioned our people and we have good players in all the necessary areas, including the strike force and we are prepared to make a good impression in today’s match.”
The General Auditing Commission (GAC) will also go into today’s games with one objective: to win and that makes the competition fierce since both sides are prepared to get a victory.
The Inter-Ministerial League is organized by the Ministry of Youth & Sports to encourage workers to engage in physical activities to ensure productivity.
