The Liberia Football Association (LFA) will begin a two-day refresher course and accreditation for CAF Licensed “A” and “B” coaches on February 21.
The forum, which will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium, will bring coaches from the first, second and women’s divisions.
LFA technical director Henry Browne is cautioning clubs not to downplay the process.
“Only coaches that participate in this refresher course will be accredited to coach in the 2019 national league, which starts on 24 February with the Super Cup matches at the ATS.
“All those concerned must register with one passport size photo and provide a copy of their license to the registrar of the LFA before 21 February,” said Browne in a circular released on 12 February.
The participants will assess the present trend of Liberian football and league matches and identify technical, physical and psychological problems in game and training and apply the appropriate solutions.
All clubs’ technical staff members, including medics and team managers, must also follow the same trend and provide the registrar with a passport size photo.
