LFA First Division League Continues Sunday

The spotlight will be on match day one losers as the Liberia Football Association first division national league continues on Sunday.

Defending champions Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) will be mindful of NPA Anchors, who stunned LISCR FC 1-0 when they square off in Kakata, Margibi County at 4:00 PM.

But BYC, who beat Keitrace FC 4-2, has a depth in the squad, according to head coach Robert Lartey.

LISCR coach Tapha Manneh will be eager to ease the pressure on him with a victory against Jubilee in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County at 4:00 PM.

Nimba United will be hoping to make it two wins in a row when they welcome Keitrace to their North Star home ground in Mount Barclay at 4:00 PM.

Sensational LPRC Oilers can also make it two wins in a row with a victory over Nimba FC, who drew goalless with Jubilee on Wednesday in Ganta, Nimba County.

At the Antoinette Tubman Stadium, Monrovia Club Breweries, who lost to United, will face rejuvenated Watanga FC at 2:00 PM while FC Fassell will meet Small Town FC at 4:00 PM.

Both teams lost their opening matches but it is Fassell, who will be without Yaya Randy Martins and Lawrence Sieh after they were red-carded against Oilers.
