The Ministry of Youth and Sports, with immediate effect, has appointed former Lone Star midfielder and defender Joe Armstrong Nagbe as Deputy Director for Sports Development.
Nagbe will serve as assistant to Liberia’s celebrated midfield maestro, Kelvin Sebwe who is the Director for Sports Technical Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The erstwhile Lone Star’s machine-man was employed recently by Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe upon his ascendancy at the Youth and Sports Ministry.
According to the term of reference, the duo is responsible to make up plans for the development of sports in the country.
Meanwhile, another former national team player, Sylvester Williams, dubbed Careca, is the Sports Advisor to Minister Nagbe.
However, another former Lone Star defender, Dionysius Sebwe, worked as deputy minister for sports at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
