Coach Matthew Saygba Julutweh of FC Fassill would be dismissed today if he loses to Aries FC at the Blue Field in the ongoing Coca-Cola tournament.
The 34-year-old has been warned of losing his job along with his deputy, physical and goalkeeper trainer and team manager if he failed to win the highly-contested tournament over a dishonorable 4-0 defeat by NPA ‘Ruthless’ Anchors on Saturday.
NPA Anchor sits at the top of Group B with three-goal lead, followed by the Invincible Eleven (IE), having pinned Aries, 1-0.
If Coach Abraham Sesay’s boys had converted all their close-up shots, FC Fassell would have conceived 8-0 in a tournament which was bargained by their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cassell A. Kuoh.
Anchor’s winger Jimmy Taylue netted the first goal through a penalty in the 14th minute which led to the break. Striker Emmanuel Call increased the tally in 64th minute, and substitutes Bill Hiah and Kelvin Dixon sealed their victory, in the 85th and 86th minutes respectively.
Howbeit, in a letter dated May 2, which was immediately after the terrible loss, FC Fassell President Reginald K. Nagbe said their performance against NPA was very discouraging and humiliating despite early preparation.
Coach Matthew Saygba Julutweh could not be contacted for his reaction.
A source said Coach Julutweh isn’t surprise of the “unprofessional warning from FC Fassell” issued immediately after the inexcusable 4-0 defeat and is considering resigning at an appropriate time to avoid the continuous discomfited and unethical manner from FC Fassell.
