‘We Are Prepared for Keitrace’

—Coach William Lartey expresses confidence

Ahead of their match against 5th Place Keitrace FC on Friday, the head coach of Jubilee FC, William Lartey, has expressed confidence in his side’s preparedness for their opponents.

In an interview with this newspaper after LPRC Oilers lost to Monrovia Club Breweries, Coach Lartey said his players are in full readiness and expects nothing but victory against their opponents.

“Our match against Keitrace this Friday will not be a strange moment because they are aware of what we did in the first leg,” Coach Lartey said.

The first leg match between the two sides ended in a one-all draw after Keitrace’s highest scorer Amadia Kawah increased his goals to six by getting the curtain raiser in the 67th minute; to which Jubilee replied eight minutes later.

Coach Lartey said his team’s performance is different from their previous performances during phase one of the league.

“We have recovered from our mistakes made during phase one of the league and Jubilee is not the same as in phase one,” he said.

Jubilee is currently in 6th place and -2 points behind Keitrace, and will be looking to move to the 5th position by securing a win against Coach Gabriel Johns’ Keitrace.

However, Keitrace who did not perform up to expectation in their previous match against Mighty Barrolle in their 1-0 win, will be hoping to move to the 4th position with three points above undefeated LISCR FC, who are leveled on points with Keitrace, but topped them on goal difference.
