The qualifying rounds for the 2015 African Cup of Nations continues today, Wednesday with a whole selection of matches across the continent.
The opening round of games followed the form book, with victories for Cameroon, the Ivory Coast, South Africa and Algeria.
However, continental giant Egypt was defeated by Senegal, Ghana could only muster a draw against Uganda at home and African champions Nigeria was defeated at home by the Republic of Congo in a disgraceful fashion.
These three fallen nations will be keen to bounce back, but, with a number of major sides facing each other in the mid-week qualifiers, it is no guarantee that they will succeed in getting their campaigns back on track.
The following are the pairings: South Africa vs. Nigeria; Rwanda vs. Sudan; Algeria vs. Mali; Angola vs. Burkina Faso and Lesotho vs. Gabon.
Cameroon vs. Cote d’Ivoire; Sierra Leone vs. RD Congo; Togo vs. Ghana; Cape Verde vs. Zambia; Mozambique vs. Nigeria; Uganda vs. Guinea; Egypt vs. Tunisia and Botswana vs. Senegal.
