Mighty LISCR FC was narrowly and embarrassingly defeated 1-0 at the sparse crowded ATS in Monrovia.
LISCR’s first defeat on Saturday was by Sensational LPRC Oilers, but is still second on the 1st Division’s log, up to press time yesterday, after exhaustive three games.
LISCR was forced to draw with Watanga 2-2, and convincingly whipped Mighty Dragon 6-0.
LPRC’s narrow win over LISCR has moved her up with four points, after three games.
Earlier, the Oil boys drew 2-2 with Nimba United and bowed to FC Fassell 1-0.
Oilers lanky striker Teku Nah’s 44th shot was enough to earn victory for his side.
Earlier, Keitrace FC got her first draw after two massive defeats.
Keitrace and Holder FC settled to a 3-3 draw at the ATS.
Holder FC’s Matthew Johnson raised the curtain in the 42nd minute, and a minute later, Mohammed Diallo from Keitrace FC leveled the score.
Holder’s goal puncher Justina Jasper increased the tally in the 59th minute, including Koko Wleh’s in the 72nd minute.
In the 74th minute, Teah Garlo of Holder FC was expelled because of tough tussling.
In the 76th minute Keitrace winger Amadiah Kawah rotated the score from a penalty kick as well as in 91st minute from a rebound after a brilliant save from Gbelly Wilson.
Keitrace’s J.C. Nyan was also sent off owing to bad foul.
Meanwhile, the two title chasers, BYC and FC Fassell are at each other’s throat to top the league with each other at six points out of two games respectively.
