Keitrace Defeats Aries 4-2

Coach William Pennoh’s boys have for the second time in a week defeated Arab Fofana’s side in the opening of the 2015 President’s Cup.

Keitrace FC booked its first slot for the semi finals when she whipped Aries FC 4-2 yesterday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.

Last Friday, Aries also bowed to Keitrace 4-2, but in a lottery shootout, after 1-1 draw.

Keitrace’s striker Mohammed Diallo netted the first goal of the tournament in the 12th minute and Aries responded after the break in the 66th minute by Richard Togba.

Keitrace’s trio, John Jaisay, Fred Brooks and Chris Jackson increased the tally and Aries’ Dweh Allison got the second goal.

Barrolle forfeited their yesterday’s encounter to Invincible Eleven without showing up for the game.

In today’s games, Watanga will host Gardnersville at 12pm, Nimba United meets Holder FC at 2:00pm and BYC II faces NPA Anchors at 4:00pm
