The Mountaineers of Nimba United that have won four matches and drew three since the start of phase two of the championship line up before

It has not been a good moment for the Soccer Mountaineers (Nimba United) after drawing three consecutive games in the championship and conceding a defeat in their last FA Cup match but qualified to the quarter-finals on goal aggregate.

And despite not having a good moment, the Soccer Mountaineers’ moment seem to be better than their FA Cup quarter-final opponents, Keitrace FC.

Keitrace FC qualified to the quarter-finals after edging out Invincible Eleven (IE) 3-1 on aggregate, but since their win, Coach Gabriel Johns’ side are yet to secure a victory in the championship and have conceded three consecutive defeats.

Due to both teams’ recent performances, it will be a fascinating clash to see one side win or settle for a draw.

Keitrace FC are the better side from their last FA Cup match against IE, but the Mountaineers showed maturity in their recent performance in the championship.

Coach Johns’ Keitrace are still hurt after conceding three consecutive defeats in their last three league matches and will be looking to recover against their quarter-final opponents.

Having drawn their last three league games, the Mountaineers are now under pressure to secure a win in their next match today against Keitrace after they were over the weekend rescued by defender Ben Beniah’s penalty against ELWA United at the North Star Stadium.

Both teams were paired in the quarter-finals following a draw at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium and one side will secure a slot in the semi-finals after their first and second leg results.

The match will be a tough nut to crack.

Kitrace FC who have won two, drew two and lost three matches in phase two of the championship
