There are three active Rotary Clubs in Liberia---the Rotary Clubs of Monrovia, Sinkor, and Gbarnga.  In their workings with international partners, local communities and businesses, the clubs have been actively involved in fighting the Ebola and the Coronavirus outbreaks.

They are also involved in polio eradication efforts as well as various other initiatives including water and sanitation, basic education and literacy, maternal and child health, economic and community development as well as peace and conflict prevention and resolution.

Meanwhile, a release issued by the Assistant Governor of the Rotary Clubs of Liberia, Eva Mappy Morgan (Judge), said during the visit the District Governor will hold meetings with the Resident Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Liberia, the Ministers of Health, Education, and Gender, Children and Social Protection on the situation in Liberia and what intervention can the Rotary International do to assist in covering up gaps that are in these social areas.

The release indicated further that the visit of the District Governor is very essential to all the clubs and their members, and that his stay will be characterized by a series of discussions with executives and members of the Rotary Club in general.

The District Governor, during his stay, will also visit project sites and have meetings with the Rotary Clubs in the country.
