First of all, I would like to give glory and thanksgiving to God for sparing my son SB’s life. In so doing, I want to quote God’s promise to believers in Him as found in Isaiah 54: 15-17: “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” I quote this to acknowledge that God is still God, keeping His promises of miraculous protection to His children.
I point this out to all who cannot or will not see God’s protection of SB. Normally, he would have been in the passenger seat where the first bullet that hit his car’s windshield was aimed at. Those who say a rock bored the hole in the windshield of SB’s car must have thrown the rock with a sharp point at the car after the shots heard in the neighborhood were fired!!
The early morning call to the police to ascertain the information about whether SB was hit, or if a police report had been filed by SB, has revealed someone to the attempted assassination.
SB has cautioned his family and Westwood family to not interfere in or compromise police investigation. This letter is publicly to thank God because the shots actually fired at SB’s car from in front did him no harm. He was driving on the stretch of road going to his house, not walking home, and he had been out with friends—not hostile friends or hostile business partners.
