Weah Votes, Confident of Victory

Amb. George Weah, a candidate in the Special Senatorial Election, is confident about winning the poll, noting that he sees no rival in the contest.

Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in Kendeja Community this morning, Weah noted that he has never lost election in the country adding; “I have always been robbed of my legitimate victory.” According to him, what happened in the past will never repeat itself in this process.

“The electoral history of Montserrado is clear, not even Madam Sirleaf has been able to beat the CDC in this county. The result is already known that the CDC will certainly win the poll,” Weah said.

He expressed satisfaction over the turnout and the entire voting process but was concerned about the lack of Ebola measures instituted at said centre. There was no themometer, hand-washing buckets at the Kendeja polling centre.
