Liberia national U-20 team will play the U-20 side of Group B winners Mali and The Gambia will play undefeated Cote d’Ivoire in tomorrow’s semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU U-20 Tournament.

Liberia secured their place following their 5-1 demolition of Sierra Leone at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on Saturday, while Mali earlier booked their ticket after their first two wins in Group B against Senegal and Guinea. In their final match, the Malians lost 1-0 against the Gambia that joined the last four.

The 1-0 win for Gambia moved them to second spot in Group B with five points out of three matches. They earlier drew with Senegal and Guinea. On the other hand, Gambia’s semi-final opponent, Cote d’Ivoire completed their winning streak to three games in the group stage after thrashing Guinea Bissau 4-0 on Saturday at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.

Wednesday’s encounter between the two sides will be intriguing as both teams are yet to taste defeat in the tournament.
