Maima Massaquoi, who recently gave birth to triplets at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Sinkor, is seeking assistance from well-meaning Liberians, philanthropists, as well as from the government of Liberia.
According to Maima, the triplets, who include two girls and a boy, were a blessing from God. She was therefore appealing for humanitarian assistance to help her give the children a ‘head-start’ in life, being short of everything that the children need.
“My husband and I cannot bring up these children now. Things are not good for us. He does not have a good job for now, and we still have to take care of them—look for good food for them. Even the clothes they need require money. We are doing our best while we await others’ help.”
Ms. Massaquoi explained that she was satisfied with her God-given gifts and any help to the children would—in her heart—take second place only to what God has provided her family through His goodness and grace.
When we spoke to a neighbor of the triplet’s mother, Mr. Gabriel Hina, Sr., he said the mother of the triplets was in dire straits, and needed assistance to bring up them up.
According to Maima, they were born on February 3, this year, and currently reside in the Bangay-Town community; she can be reached on the following numbers: 0886-408823, 0886-516291.
