Thomas Kojo Exits BYC

Lone Star’s Deputy coach Thomas Kojo has parted ways with first division club Barrack Young Controllers after several seasons with the Go Blue Boys.

Kojo, a former national team player, and his former club reached the agreement yesterday. BYC through its president Sekou Konneh thanked its former Technical Director for the level of work done during his time with the team.

“Our appreciation to Kojo for his excellent work over the past years, having won the first division league, FA Cup title and the second division championship with us as our technical director. He has behaved with great professionalism and dignity throughout his time here. He leaves us with a legacy of affording several young players the confidence to show their ability on the highest stage. Everyone at the club wishes him all the best in the future,” president Konneh said.

Kojo’s last game as Technical Director of BYC was the team’s final encounter in the just ended first division championship against LPRC Oilers at the Blue Field. BYC is, meanwhile, expected to announce a new Technical Director in the coming days.
