Rep. Kparkar’s Book of Condolence Postponed


The signing of the Book of Condolence for Lofa County District # 1 Representative Eugene Fallah Kparkar has been postponed to an unknown date, but the itinerary for the funeral rites will begin Thursday, December 1, 2016, according to the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.

The reason for the postponement of the signing of the Book of Condolence was not disclosed, but reports gathered say a new date will be agreed upon and announced by the Kparkar family in collaboration with the House of Representatives, the Liberty Party (LP), and the Executive.

According to the itinerary, the body will be taken from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlors at 10am for a few hours repose at the Capitol Building.

Afterward, the body will be escorted to the Free Pentecostal Global Mission Church, on 10th Street, Sinkor, for a night of wake-keeping.

On Friday, December 2, at 10:00am, the body will be flown to Foya District, Lofa County, for another night of wake-keeping.

At 10:00am the next day, the funeral service will be held at the Free Pentecostal Church Global Mission in Foya, to be followed by interment.

Rep. Kparkar, 41, died at the BLK Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi, India, after a protracted illness. He was elected to the House of Representative in 2005.

He also went to the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) computer program, where he graduated with a diploma in computer literate in 2008. He is now a senior student of the University of Liberia, Civil engineering department, reading Civil engineering. He is in a serious relationship with Mercy Johnson and has a junior boy name, Otis Success Johnson, born 2016, March 29.
