Redemption Hospital receives Donations -Outcries Heard

The Daily Observer, the longest running newspaper company in Liberia has donated essential medical gear to Redemption hospital, which continues to lose its heath workers to the deadly Ebola virus.

The items included medical gloves, rubber rain boots for medical use, raingear and bottles of bleach.

Mr. Kenneth Best, publisher of Daily Observer said the donations were for the hospital’s use and that “Daily Observer is pleased to share these things to help save lives,”

Rev. Samuel Farley, the vice president of the Health Workers association and also an employee of the Redemption Hospital, expressed gratitude to the donors and said the items would go a long way to protect their health workers.

“We want to thank Daily Observer for their kind gesture. We appreciate it and look forward to more.  It’s not about the quantity but the quality and the sincerity that matter, thank you,” he gratified.

Rev, Farley was accommodated by two other heath workers at redemption hospital, Mr. Charles R. Kennedy and Ezekiel Seoh
