Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji has been cleared by the Governance Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to contest for a slot in the next Executive Committee.
The Governance Committee of CAF met in Cairo on 5 and 6 January 2021, convened by its President Mr. Michel Kizito Brizoua-Bi, to carry out the eligibility checks of candidates for the positions of CAF President and members of CAF Executive Committee. Raji is one of 13 candidates that have been authorized to participate in the ExCo members election.
Three others will require additional verifications before been added to the candidates cleared to contest to be on the next CAF Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee was established by the Board of Directors in 1971. It comprises the directors appointed by the sharholders of Series A, B and C and is chaired by the Executive President. It approves financeial operations within the limits by the Board.
