Amb. Pelham Raad: "District #10 deserves the very best and collectively with the people, “we will make the dream possible.”

Child rights advocate, Karishma Pelham-Raad has declared her intention to unseat Rep. Yekeh Kolubah as representative of District #10 in Montserrado County during the 2023 general elections.

According to Amb. Pelham-Raad, her decision is predicated upon the many challenges confronting the district and its people, especially improving the life of the poor who are the less privileged and faced with too many disadvantages.

“As CEO of HRH Charity Foundation, I, Karishma Pelham Raad, want to officially pronounce my declaration of intent to contest for Representative of Electoral District#10 Montserrado County,” she said. “Once elected, I am going to help elevate the hardship within the district and work hard to change the low-minded narrative to a positive and productive one.”

Ambassador Pelham-Raad, a member of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) is a prominent resident of the district and the Chief Executive Officer of ‘Her Royal Highness (HRH) Charity Foundation’.

The 2023 representative hopeful vowed that she will keep engaging the people of District #10 through meaningful adventures until 2023 and beyond. She said District #10 deserves the very best and collectively with the people, “we will make the dream possible.”

Amb. Pelham-Raad noted that as representative hopeful, she cannot continue to sit and watch underachievers lavish luxury opportunities that could better the lives of her people.

“This might be a shock to the traditional political fanatics but to me, it is an establishment of a new progressive journey in my life as a person that will be rocky and tedious but my quest to prioritize the ordinary masses make this pronouncement historic,” Amb. Pelham-Raad added.

Amb. Pelham-Raad: “As an eminent citizen of District #10, I have listened to the people remonstrance, I have watched many glorious opportunities pass by us and our underprivileged young people, but we are here to work on these issues and to focus more on youth and women’s empowerment.”

Amb. Pelham-Raad said she has contributed to her dear nation and people through numerous charity projects headed by the noble HRH Charity Foundation. Meanwhile, the 2023 representative hopeful is the first brand ambassador of the Aqualife Water Bottling Company, Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL), Nicom Distillery, and Media Personality.

In July of last year, she called on well-meaning Liberians and philanthropists to help save the life of a five-month-old baby boy, Destiny Moore, who has been diagnosed with a heart and cervical spine problem.

She also launched a COVID-19 street awareness campaign to educate the public about how to prevent the spread of the disease. At the same time, Amb. Pelham-Raad also won “Africa’s Most Outstanding On-Air Personality of the Year Award from Africa leading women conference held in Nigeria recently.
