Prez Sirleaf Applauds Turkey on 93rd National Day


President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has congratulated the Government and People of the Republic of Turkey on the occasion commemorating the 93rd Anniversary of the National Day of that country on Saturday, October 29, 2016.

In her message to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Sirleaf on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of Turkey as they celebrate this historic event, which places particular recognition on charity work and volunteerism.

She further said “even as Europe is faced with the challenge of migration, Turkey has become an important stakeholder in decisively addressing this global concern, and we remain grateful for your support in the premise.”

Madam Sirleaf expressed optimism that the long and cordial relationship between Liberia and Turkey will be further enriched and deepened as the two governments work collaboratively for the mutual benefit of their respective peoples.

Born unto the union of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson Tamba on May 16. Graduated from the Salvation Army School System " William Booth high school" in 2006/2007 academic year. He also went to the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) computer program, where he graduated with a diploma in computer literate in 2008. He is now a senior student of the University of Liberia, Civil engineering department, reading Civil engineering. He is in a serious relationship with Mercy Johnson and has a junior boy name, Otis Success Johnson, born 2016, March 29.
