President Sirleaf Consoles Kenya


President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to the government and people of the Republic of Kenya following the collapse of a seven-story building in Nairobi due to torrential storms, killing at least 20 persons and injuring about 80 others. 65 persons are reported missing.

According to a Foreign Affairs Ministry release, President Sirleaf in her message to Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta, extended, on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, and in her own name, heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kenya, especially the bereaved families, for the irreparable losses sustained.

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf prayed that the Almighty God will grant President Kenyatta and the people of the sisterly Republic of Kenya strength, courage and fortitude as they go through this period of national mourning.


  • Born unto the union of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson Tamba on May 16. Graduated from the Salvation Army School System " William Booth high school" in 2006/2007 academic year. He also went to the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) computer program, where he graduated with a diploma in computer literate in 2008. He is now a senior student of the University of Liberia, Civil engineering department, reading Civil engineering. He is in a serious relationship with Mercy Johnson and has a junior boy name, Otis Success Johnson, born 2016, March 29.
