President Sirleaf Consoles Cuba on Former President Fidel Castro’s Death

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to the President of the Republic of Cuba, Raul Castro Ruz, on the death of former President and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

Castro, the historical leader of the Cuban revolution, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Havana.

According to a Foreign Affairs Ministry release, President Sirleaf, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended to the Government and people of Cuba heartfelt condolences and prayed that as they mourn the “loss of their historic leader and ideologue of the Cuban revolution, the Almighty
God will grant them strength, courage and fortitude during their period of national mourning”.


  • Born unto the union of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson Tamba on May 16. Graduated from the Salvation Army School System " William Booth high school" in 2006/2007 academic year. He also went to the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) computer program, where he graduated with a diploma in computer literate in 2008. He is now a senior student of the University of Liberia, Civil engineering department, reading Civil engineering. He is in a serious relationship with Mercy Johnson and has a junior boy name, Otis Success Johnson, born 2016, March 29.
