Joining the effort to fight against the deadly Ebola virus that is claiming lives across Liberia, the President and CEO of Morweh Energy Group Inc., Christopher Y.Neyor, has donated the amount of L$100,000 along with 50 buckets and sanitation materials to Liberia Crusaders for Peace to help fight the deadly Ebola Virus in other counties.

Mr.Neyor made the donations of buckets, chlorine, Clorox among others, yesterday August 14, at the Head Quarters of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace (LCP) in Monrovia.

“Our hearts are heavy with the Ebola epidemic that is destroying our people in the land.  People are sick and still have dead bodies in houses and no one to pay attention to them.

“This is the intent of my visit to the LCP to help distribute those items to some counties in our country that are effected with this Ebola virus to help save the lives of other citizens in the country,” Mr.Neyor said.

Discussing the danger of Ebola in the country Mr.Neyor, said it is time for all Liberians to join the fight against Ebola by putting aside politics and tribalism and focus to the real issue that is affecting the citizens.

He meanwhile called on the National Task Force on Ebola to work tirelessly especially in saving the lives of those that are not affected and that they should also focus on those that are affected by providing food and treatment.

“Because of the epidemic in the country, our people are afraid to go to hospitals. We still have major hospitals closed and moreover, dead bodies are staying two to four days in a home which is very dangerous to the health of the communities.

“With this the National Task Force on Ebola  must be properly empowered with good human capacity, proper planning and implementations to help carry on their  duties.”
Discussing some of his contributions to the fight  against Ebola in the country, Mr. Neyor disclosed that his organization earlier donated over L$200,000 to nurses for protective gear and pledged his organization’s support to LCP and the Liberian people to aid fight the  Ebola virus in the country.

Receiving the donations on behalf of the Executive Director Amb. Juli Endee, the LCP Administrator Yah Bryant thanked Mr. Neyor and his team for the great contributions made to the Liberian people at large.

She promised to carry on the Ebola awareness to those counties that are affected with the virus. “We will work tirelessly in making sure Ebola is out of Liberia through a house-to-house approach until this deadly virus is kicked out of our country like polio.”
