Announces New Album ‘Country Geh’
After a long wait, Mz Menneh has finally dropped the highly anticipated video for her controversial song “Talk It” as well as fans favorite “Cuddle Boy,” which premiered on September 13, 2018.
Both songs’ videos depart greatly from the artist’s traditional music style that made her a household name. The song “Talk It” has stirred controversies because of the lyrics, which some bloggers see as a diss track for the mention of the words “single women.”
In addition to the videos, the singer shared details about her upcoming debut album title “Country Geh,” which will be released in July 2019.
According to the artiste, the album “Country Geh” will comprise nine (9) tracks plus a bonus song in different genres including Afrobeats and Electronic Dance Music. The artiste promises that the album will be reflective of her African roots, embrace the essence of traditional and cultural life in Liberia.
Mz Menneh also announced a festival event titled, “Liberia Annual Cultural and Musical Festival Show,” which is aimed at promoting and celebrating the country’s cultural heritage and establishing artistic programs across the country. According to the singer, the festival is scheduled for the second week in December 2018 and will be the first of its kind in Liberia.
