Kamboe Sneh Jr., consoling a large gathering of mourners celebrating the home-going of his father, Deacon Kamboe Sneh Sr. of the Christian Community Center (CCC), said there is time for everything under the sun (quoting Ecclesiastes. 3:1-8).

The funeral was held at the CCC edifice in Jacob Town, Paynesville last Saturday.

Samuel Sneh, choked with emotion, told the gathering that in God’s own time, He would wipe tears away from “our eyes, and there would be no pain, outcry and mourning,” as he suddenly held his peace, unable to continue the reading from Revelation 21: 3-8.

Though it was said that it was a celebration of Deacon Sneh’s life, since he was a man who worked to show others God’s love, the echoes of mourners filled the background as his remains were viewed at the Stryker Funeral Home and at the CCC edifice.

Deacon Sneh died at the age of 51 after a protracted illness. Delivering the discourse, Rev. Dr. Al Karlay told the mourners that he loved those he came in contact with and therefore they must use love as the mirror of his life to continue to build each other up.

Rev. Karlay told them to look back on their lives, as in a mirror, to see whether they have the spirit to undermine, to hate, to divide and to destroy.

“Let your love change others; let your love build others up and you must leave from here today to share love with each other,” Rev. Karlay said.

The English and the Kru choirs sang the favorite hymns of the late Deacon Sneh. Tributes came from the Ministry of Lands & Energy, Murrayville Community, Bomi County Association, Tolbert Group of Companies, among others. Burial took place in Brewerville.
