Maritime Commissioner Kesselly Resigns

The Commissioner of Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA), Binyan C. Kesselly, has tendered his resignation after eight years with the entity.

An Executive Mansion release said Commissioner Kesselly had earlier informed President Sirleaf that after his years of service as head of the Maritime Authority, he will like to pursue other professional options. President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf yesterday accepted Kesselly’s resignation.

In April 2008, the President appointed Mr. Kesselly as Maritime Commissioner with the responsibilities to lead the world’s second largest Maritime Program in Liberia and ensure domestic and global expansion in various white space areas in the Maritime industry.
