Man, 41, Charged for Sodomy

Defendant Worjloh on his way to the Monrovia Central Prison after being charged for sodomy

Authorities of the Liberia National Police (LNP) have charged a 41-year-old man identified as Christopher Worjloh for allegedly sodomizing two young men in the Saye Town Community in Sinkor.

According to an LNP report, defendant Worjloh on separate dates ‘raped’ Aaron Zaizay, 18, and Emmanuel Getty, 18.

Defendant Worjloh was arrested on January 19, 2018 and has been charged and detained at the Monrovia Central Prison.

“Consideration of the facts and pieces of evidence gathered, direct and indirect consistent allegations levied against defendant Worjloh by the victims, medical report findings, witnesses testimonies, crime scene establishment, coupled with the circumstances involved, this investigation hols defendant Worjloh culpable of the offense,” said the report.

According to the police investigation, the statements made by the victims and witnesses corroborated the allegation levied against the defendant.

“The description of the crime scene given by the victims about defendant Christopher Worjloh’s room matches that which was observed by the police and photographed,” the LNP indicated.

During the police investigation, an unidentified lady facilitated a connection through Facebook between LNP officers and Worjloh, who posed as ‘Wesseh,’ .

“The victims indicated that defendant Worjloh invited them on separate dates at his house located on 2nd Street, Saye Town,” where the incident took place, the LNP report said.

According to the police, a medical report from the Star of the Sea One Stop Center Hospital given to the investigation by the victims dated on January 15, 2018, revealed that someone tampered with the victims.
