Liberia’s Malaysia-based striker Kpah Sherman on Tuesday recorded another goal for his club Kedah FA in the Malaysian Super League when his side came from a goal down to beat Selangor 2-1 at the MBPJ Stadium in Selangor, Malaysia.
The Malaysia Super League (Malay: Liga Super Malaysia) is the men’s top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system.[
Sherman scored the equalizer from a spot-kick in the 79th minutes before his teammate Kipre Tchetche scored the winning goal in the 85th minute to complete Kedah’s fifth consecutive win in their last five games.
Sherman celebrated his goal with his trademark celebration that he usually does by rotating his hands in front his chest and slowly marching with his keens high up.
The win maintained Kedah in the second position with 16 points from seven games. Kedah will host Terengganu in their next match on Friday, April 9.
Tuesday’s goal marked Sherman’s fifth out of seven games played so far.
Oscar Dorley’s Slavia Praha Arrive London to Face Arsenal
Liberian international Oscar Dolley is expected to feature for Slavia Praha on Thursday, April 8 when they take on Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals first-leg at the Emirates Stadium in London.
Oscar was included in the squad that traveled to London after returning from his international break. He was captured in a training session at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Slavia Praha progressed to the quarterfinals following a 3-1 aggregate win against Rangers in the Round of 16.
The previous meetings between the two teams in European competition were in the group stages of the 200/08 UEFA Champions League- Arsenal won 7-0 at home before drawing 0-0 away.
The aggregate winners between the two teams will face the aggregate winners from Granada vs Man United in the semi-finals.
