The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has extended the registration of all clubs for the 2019 Orange national league to March 15 and rescheduled the start of the women’s league to March 17.
The suspension of players, referees, and coaches during the 2018 Orange national league, 2018/2019 national county sports meet, and third division league have, with immediate effect, been lifted, according to LFA.
It followed several appeals from stakeholders, which were finally approved by the executive committee.
The LFA has also announced that, for the good of everyone, club administrators wanting to get information or document(s) from the Secretariat will have to present a proper identification card bearing the club’s approved name beginning March 1.
Only clubs with official email accounts will receive an official email from the LFA effective March 10.
Those decisions were communicated to all stakeholders by LFA Secretary-General Isaac Montgomery in an email on February 25, an LFA release said.
