The managing director of the Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company (LPRC) Sumo Kupee has pleaded with his employees to exhibit a ‘hard working’ attitude.
Mr. Kupee, who made the statement recently at his Bushrod Island office, when his entity recognized scores of contractors and employees, said, if they work hard with a good understanding of each other they can achieve success.
The recognition program was held on Saturday, June 19, under the theme: “Appreciating with Gratitude” and was the first of its kind to recognize the contractors.
He said when employees, contractors and management work together, they will maximize their benefits.
The LPRC boss urged employees and contractors to work hard to elevate themselves and their entities.
MD Kupee noted that management is also working on behalf of employees to improve their working conditions.
Earlier, Deputy Managing Director for Administration Jackson F. Doe indicated that every year the company recognizes employees and contractors for their commitment to the LPRC.
Mr. Doe said that the program was in honor of people who have worked diligently over the years.
In separate remarks, Abraham Burnor, security officer and Felecia T. Wright of the training department lauded the management for the recognition, because it will motivate them to remain committed on the job and work over time.
