Econet Media’s dynamic content business, Kwesé TV, has partnered with Orange Liberia to launch the best entertainment and sports and make its first to market, exclusive, premium affordable pay television available to households across Liberia, according to a press release yesterday.
The release said Liberian audiences will be familiar with Kwesé’s free-to-air channel (FTA), Kwesé Free Sports which was launched last year, bringing premium sports content into Liberian homes at no cost. Now the broadcaster will unveil its full-suite of top-shelf content which encompasses all programming genres namely sports, music, movies, series, kids, lifestyle, faith, news programming and so much more.
Viewers looking for a fresh alternative can now look forward to exclusive internationally acclaimed and popular channels such as DreamWorks, CNN International, VICELAND and Diddy’s REVOLT TV as well as other televisions shows which cater for every viewing appetite. Kwesé TV’s programming line-up also includes the very best in global news, offering a diverse set of perspectives on world events and the global economy. This includes the likes of Sky News, BBC, Bloomberg, Aljazeera, WION and CNBC Africa – among others.
Kwesé is a multi-platform and multi-screen broadcast network which gives subscribers access to the full spectrum of programming on Kwesé TV across multiple platforms including TV and mobile. Its 70+ channels of premium entertainment and sports programming can be accessed on the Kwesé’s satellite set-top-box (decoder) available at all Orange stores in Liberia.
In addition to great content and its multi-platform, multi-screen broadcasting model, Kwesé’s key differentiator is its innovative payment options that offer flexibility and convenience. Kwesé offers a ‘pay-as-you-watch’ service that enables viewers to purchase three-day, seven day or monthly subscription packages to its full programming bouquet. These payment options, which turn the traditional pay TV model on its head, provides unparalleled access to premium programming at an affordable price.
