Morris Jarbo, the man accused of murdering his 25-year-old girlfriend and escaping justice, has being arrested in Grand Cape Mount County by the Liberia National Police (LNP).
The incident took place on September 25, 2014 in the Shoe Factory Community in Gardnerville, outside Monrovia, according to Police.
Suspect Jarbo is currently undergoing investigation at the LNP headquarters in Monrovia.
He was said to have been arrested following a tip-off from some residents in Grand Cape Mount, where he has been in hiding since the incident.
Suspect Jarbo was picked up at the Grand Cape Mount Police Headquarters where he had gone to hide as a fugitive from justice.
It was at the headquarters that Jarbo was recognized by some residents who were returning to Grand Cape Mount, from Monrovia, where the alleged murder took place.
Meanwhile, Police Director Clarence C. Massaquoi is admonishing citizens to cooperate and adhere to the regulations of the Government, stressing that the police will remain vigilant in enforcing laws of Liberia.
