A Consortium of Montserrado University Student Unions (CMCUS) over the weekend honored and certificated Montserrado County Electoral District #12 Lawmaker Richmond Anderson for his “commitment to the residents and the country, which includes educating some of the youths in the district.”
CMCUS leadership honored Rep. Anderson on Saturday in his district office in Gardnersville.
Mohammed Sheriff, CMUSU’s National Chairman, described Rep. Anderson as an outstanding developmental lawmaker and fearless astute politician that has exposed and prevented some of the “unbearable” situations in the district.
Sheriff recalled how Anderson has continuously helped to improve the district when he provided scholarships to deserving students as well as initiating other development projects.
In response, Rep. Anderson expressed gratitude to the organization for recognizing his effort to ensure that the district becomes developed.
Rep. Anderson called on critics to desist from vices that would undermine the development of the district.
