The founder and president of the Halsaylin Charity Organization located in the 72nd community of Paynesville, Cecelia D. Bestman, a Liberian based in the U.S., said she returned home to contribute her quota to enhance government’s efforts to care for the less fortunate among us, especially children, by establishing an orphanage to prepare them for the future.
Bestman said when these children overcome their challenges the country stands to benefit from their effort.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with reporters recently at the official opening of the center over the weekend, Bestman said she established the organization to build a solid foundation for Liberian children by providing them quality education and moral discipline.
She said with the kind of administrators and staff, “who are so caring and committed,” she is hopeful that the organization will be able to produce good and disciplined children who will contribute meaningfully to Liberia’s development agenda.
Madam Bestman launched the orphanage alongside her husband at the Halsaylin Charity Organization head office in the 72nd community of Paynesville .
