The finally completed Central Bank of Liberia Building on Ashmun Street, just across from the historic Centennial Pavilion, spectacularly displays its dazzling lights, beautifully glittering on Monrovia’s skyline at night.
Central Bank Governor J. Mills Jones, asked by the Daily Observer a few months ago when the building would be dedicated, said the government was waiting for the end of the Ebola Epidemic.
Now that the virus is almost defeated, it may not be long before the Bank moves from its Warren and Carey Street headquarters, into its imposing and dazzling new edifice. It will be the first building in Monrovia to have multi-storied inside parking.
