Calendar of Events Out for UL 97th Commencement Convocation

The Administration of the University of Liberia has released the calendar of events leading to the 97th joint Commencement Convocation on December 14, a UL release has said.

The schedule of events begins with the Arts and Crafts Day on November 30 in the Administrative Building of the Fendall Campus at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, UL Administration on Thursday held Alumni Association Homecoming Day on the Capitol Hill Campus.

On Friday, December 2, the Faculty and Staff Honors Program takes place at 3 p.m. on Capitol Hill and will be followed by the Class Day/Night Program at 6 p.m. at the same venue.

On Saturday, December 3, the Administration will celebrate the Faculty Association Day at the Fendall Campus beginning at 11 a.m.

“Except the commencement for the David Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College, all commencements/graduations will occur at our Fendall Campus in Louisiana.”

Monday, December 5, marks the beginning of the college-based commencements with Liberia College at 11 a.m.

The William V. S. Tubman Teachers College will hold its commencement on Tuesday, December 6, at 11 a.m. while on Wednesday, December 7, the Thomas J. R. Faulkner College of Science and Technology will hold its graduation.

On Thursday, December 8, the William R. Tolbert Jr. College of Agriculture and Forestry will hold its commencement at 11 a.m.

The College of Business and Public Administration convocation will take place on Friday, December 9, at 11 a.m.

The Oaths and Honors Programs for both Medical College and the School of Pharmacy will take place on Saturday, December 10, on Fendall Campus beginning at 10 a.m.

On Monday, December 12, David A. Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College convocation will take place at Sinje in Grand Cape Mount County at 11 a.m.

On Tuesday, December 13, the Lux In Tenebris Scholars Program will take place on the Capitol Hill Campus beginning at 10 a.m.

“And on Wednesday, December 14, the 97th Commencement Convocations with a joint convocation for the Medical College, School of Pharmacy and the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law as well as other graduate schools will take place,” the release said.

In lieu, the Staff Association will on Friday, December 16, hold its Staff Day. This event climaxes the 97th Commencement Convocation.

He also went to the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) computer program, where he graduated with a diploma in computer literate in 2008. He is now a senior student of the University of Liberia, Civil engineering department, reading Civil engineering. He is in a serious relationship with Mercy Johnson and has a junior boy name, Otis Success Johnson, born 2016, March 29.
