Lonestar Cell MTN Takes Services on Wheels to Customers

MTN Vice President for West Africa, Mr. Asante on board the Lone Star Cell MTN Services On the Go.

Lonestar Cell MTN has launched a new product called ‘Services on the Go’, in partnership with AIRCOM Technologies Incorporated. Launched by MTN’s West African Regional Vice President, Ebenezer T. Asante, ‘Services on the Go’ is the first-ever mobile service center for shopping convenience.

According to the company, a well-trained customer experience representative will provide services in the Lonestar Cell MTN’s specially-designed branded ‘Keh-keh,’ known as the ‘Service Center on Wheels’ when traveling to homes, communities, large and small businesses. The services to be provided on the wheels by Lonestar MTN include registration and swapping of SIM Cards, Mobile Money cash-in, and cash-out transactions, data activation, mobile money PIN resets, and many more. 

Speaking at the launch, Lonestar Cell MTN’s Chief Executive Officer, Raul De, said, “Our ambition is to ensure our customers live a modern and connective life. So, we create relevant and practical solutions like the Service Center on Wheels to provide great service and easy access to our products and services.”

He said customers can even purchase scratch cards, routers, and cell phones during visits to the Centre on wheels. For more convenience, businesses can schedule appointments with the services on the Go Keh-keh to ensure their staff can access Lonestar Cell MTN services without taking time away from work. 

Mr. De added, “We will go everywhere our customers are to ensure they are connected.” Launching the product at the Lonestar Cell MTN office in Congo Town, MTN West African Regional Vice President, Ebenezer T. Asante congratulated the Lonestar Cell MTN team for the great initiative to ensure that customers are well satisfied with their products and operations.

Mr. Asante said, “For us to be able to deliver customers value, it means that we have to be able to identify all the challenges that customers have and systemically have a plan to be able to turn them into a happy moment. So, I am happy today to be here to launch this great service.” He told the Lonestar Cell MTN management that they are all looking forward to these services and translating the agenda that they currently have for customers.

Meanwhile, the ‘Services on the Go’ begins from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, where Lonestar Cell MTN Kehkeh will travel from Sinkor, Somalia Drive now Japan Freeway, Duala, Vai Town, Matadi, New Georgia, and Barnesville Estates and other parts of Monrovia. Then on Sunday and Friday, the service center on wheels will also visit churches and mosques.  The launch was also attended by scores of Lonestar Cell MTN staff, sales agents, as well as passersby.
