The Liberia Football Association (LFA) over the weekend announced a 22-man squad that has been named by Liberia senior men’s national team head coach Peter Butler.

Butler named three uncapped players in his new squad for the final World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Central African Republic (CAR).

Liberia will host Nigeria and CAR on November 13 and 16 respectively at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangiers, Morocco after the Royal Morocco Football Federation (RMFF) granted Liberia the use of the stadium due to CAF’s ban imposed on the SKD Sports Stadium.

The new intivees include Watanga FC goalkeeper Derrick Julu and defenders Mark Pabai of PEC Zwolle in the Netherlands and Jamal Arago of Sabail FK in Azerbaijan.

Arago, according to the LFA, featured for the Black Satellites during the qualifiers for the 2013 Africa Youth Championship but didn't make the final squad due to injury.

Goalie Boison Wynney de Souza, midfielder Justin Paul Salmon and striker Peters Wilson and Sylvanus Nimely all got a recall.
