Liberia: Woman’s Dead Body Found in a Guest House in Nimba

The lifeless body of an unidentified woman who is believed to be in her mid-40s has been discovered in a guest house in Ganta, Nimba County, KMTV has reported.

Police discovered the unidentified woman's body on Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the F-2 Guest House in the J. W. Pearson Community.

The victim and an unidentified man who was reportedly her boyfriend booked a room (Room #4) at the F-2 Guest House at around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, the guest house's receptionist told KMTV.

While Ganta police continue their initial investigation and look for the boyfriend, who is now reportedly on the run, the body has been taken to the Gompa Funeral Home.

Additionally, it has not yet been determined whether the victim and the alleged offender are Ganta residents.

Just a few weeks prior, a young woman in her mid-twenties was reportedly stabbed to death in Ganta, Nimba County, by a man who was thought to be her ex-lover.

After a brief struggle on April 14 in the late evening, Jefferson Kwia, 30, is accused of killing Lucia Gonleseh, a mother of a two-year-old child.
