— NHA’s new management team encourages staff

The Newly Appointed Management Team of the National Housing Authority (NHA) convened a well-attended acquaintance meeting at its headquarters on Capitol Hill, Monrovia. During the gathering, Hon. Florence K. Geegbae, Managing Director, emphasized the importance of collective effort in fulfilling the NHA’s mandate of providing low-cost and affordable housing units across all fifteen political subdivisions of the country.

The Managing Director urged both senior and junior staff members to “Keep All Hands on Deck” and embrace innovation and actively contribute meaningful ideas to advance the NHA’s objectives. Emphasizing the significance of collaboration and creativity, the Managing Director underscored the vital role each staff member plays in realizing the organization's vision.

“The NHA,” she said, “remains committed to its mission of addressing the housing needs of the Liberian people. By fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity, the NHA aims to enhance its capacity to deliver accessible and sustainable housing solutions to communities nationwide.” 

The Managing Director and her newly appointed deputies, Hon. Prince Saah Bonnah, Sr., Deputy Managing Director for Administration, and Hon. Alex W. Railley, Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services, have pledged to revitalize the functionality of the entity to align with its intended purpose. 

Geegbae further assured her staff and stakeholders of the importance of efficiency and effectiveness of her team’s dedication to rebranding the NHA to better fulfill its constitutional mandate.

The MD additionally highlighted the organization’s commitment to fostering partnerships with both governmental and private entities to bolster housing development initiatives nationwide. By attracting essential support, the entity targets to play a pivotal role in stimulating economic growth through the provision of housing solutions.

As part of the management’s strategic agenda, the MD announced plans to incorporate insurance coverage for staff and up to three of their children within the entity's budget. This initiative underscores the management’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its workforce.

Madam Geegbae and her team seized the opportunity of the day’s gathering to extend heartfelt appreciation to President Joseph N. Boakai for the honor of their appointment and the trust placed in them to administer the affairs of the National Housing Authority (NHA). They expressed profound gratitude for the warm welcome and overwhelming support received from the staff and stakeholders.

In conclusion, Madam Geegbae further underlined the importance of diligence and commitment in achieving the organization’s objectives.
